The year 2020 has been a trying year for many of us, but it did have it's highlights. Several months ago Mike entered some images in the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA) competition. The judging was held several weeks ago and we just got notification that several of his images won awards. Usually they have a real convention along with the print competition and an awards banquet and of course this year things were different, and slower getting announced. With all that has been going on it is so exciting to get this news! Mike was awarded First Place in the Portrait Open category for a family portrait, First Place, Distinguished and Honors in the senior portrait category, one image received honors in the Fine Art Category and he received Best in Show in the portrait category. Along with the awards he was also in the top 10 photographers in the state competition. Several of these images have on our webpage, so you might have already seen them.
